OK, 2010 Canadian International Auto Show, let me get this straight. You want me to go to a website, then download an app, so I can scan a 2D barcode, so I can go to a website? 

That's just entirely too much work.

And people wonder why QR codes haven't taken off in North America. Maybe it's because of needlessly complicated, gimmicky stuff like this.
